SharpLink Gaming Ltd, an experienced technology solutions and services provider for the U.S. online sports betting industry, has partnered with the NFL Minnesota Vikings to offer fans a fantastic-style free online game called Pass or Play.

For the third year in a row, Pass or Play challenges fans to build their own squad each week and join a group with friends, colleagues or other NFL fans. The participants in the game will have to define a new line-up chosen from among three cards dealt for each position, keeping the player dealt or taking advantage of the next two cards to choose another.

Players can come back each day for new cards if they have already passed all three cards for a given position. Once match day arrives, the player lineup is set, earning them points similar to traditional fantasy games. Entrants compete for fun weekly prizes from sponsor Mystic Lake Casino and Hotel and the Minnesota Vikings throughout the regular season.

Scott kegley, executive director of digital media and innovation for the Minnesota Vikings, said, “We have an incredible fan base that spans the world. By offering free games like Pass or Play, we can engage our fans through our mobile app throughout the week, until match day.

“We are delighted to continue working with SharpLink on Pass or Play for the third consecutive season. It’s a game that we believe to be the best in its class, combining luck and skill, and engaging our fans who are looking for this type of gaming experience.

SharpLink CEO Rob phythian added, “With over 60 million Americans actively playing fantasy-style free games and contests online last year, real-time digital sports gamification has become a must-have fan engagement tool for fans. sports media editors, leagues and teams.

“In addition, the 15+ years of experience and expertise of our team in the design, development, testing, hosting and management of fantastic games and online sports betting enables sports leagues to achieve and interact with their fans in many ways – from traditional fantasy games to full geo-targeted betting integrations.

“While Minnesota has yet to legalize online sports betting – and maybe not in the foreseeable future – creating innovative and fun gaming experiences for millions of Viking fans is hugely rewarding for us,” especially since the team represents SharpLink’s home state of Minnesota. “
